Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy is part of the Terms of Service of theReconcio cloud service. It describes what the Customer and its users must not do with the Service.
1. Lawful use
The Service must not be used:
- to process data that the Customer has no right to process, or in breach of its agreements with payment providers, banks or other third parties;
- for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud or any other unlawful activity, or to conceal such activity;
- to upload special categories of personal data (health, biometric data and similar) or full payment card numbers with security codes, beyond what is strictly necessary and permitted by law and the Customer's PCI DSS obligations.
2. Security
The Customer and its users must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other customers' accounts or data, or our infrastructure;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written consent (we welcome responsible disclosure at support@reconcio.pro);
- upload malware or files designed to disrupt or damage systems;
- share credentials or API keys outside the Customer's organisation.
3. Fair use of resources
The Customer must not:
- circumvent the limits of its Plan (for example, by creating multiple trial accounts or automating account creation);
- send requests at a rate that degrades the Service for others, or bypass rate limits of the API;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to benchmark it for publication without consent.
4. The software
The Customer must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service or its software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction, and must not resell or sublicense access to the Service without a written agreement with us.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and, in proportion to the risk, suspend access to the affected account, API key or functionality. Where possible we notify the Customer first and give it an opportunity to remedy the breach. Serious or repeated breaches entitle us to terminate the account under the Terms of Service.
