Product

What does Reconcio do?

It matches two exports by a key and explains every discrepancy: which keys are only in one file, which values differ and in which columns, and how far apart the totals are. Typical pairs are PSP transactions vs. the accounting ledger, bank statement vs. ERP, and marketplace payouts vs. orders — but any two lists of records with a common key will do.

Is there a cloud version?

No. Reconcio is self-hosted: it runs in your infrastructure, and your data never leaves it.

How much does it cost?

In the cloud: Starter at $250 a month and Business at $750 a month, with a 14-day free trial. Self-hosted: an annual license from $3,600 a year. Seepricing; the first audit of your files is free — write tosupport@reconcio.pro.

Deployment and data

What do we need to run it?

Docker with Compose, or Kubernetes (there is a Helm chart). The stack is one Reconcio image plus PostgreSQL, Redis and S3-compatible storage; the bundled Compose file brings all of them up, and database migrations run on start. ClickHouse is added for files beyond a million rows; without it, reconciliation runs in memory with the same results.

Does it need internet access?

No. It works air-gapped; the license is checked offline. Email is optional: without it Reconcio works, it just doesn't send messages.

Where are secrets kept?

In environment variables, a file, HashiCorp Vault or Infisical — whichever you already use.

How long are our files kept?

Uploaded files are deleted 24 hours after upload. The differences file is kept for the retention period configured in the installation. The results summary stays.

How do we monitor it?

Reconcio exposes Prometheus metrics on a separate port and the probes/livez and /readyz. Administrators also see the health of dependencies and background tasks in the admin console.

Files

Which formats are supported?

CSV and XLSX, with the header in the first row. For XLSX the first sheet is used. The legacy .xls format is not supported — save the file as.xlsx or .csv.

The columns are named differently in our two files.

That's expected. You choose which column of file A corresponds to which column of file B, and Reconcio suggests the pairs. Headers can be in any language.

How large can the files be?

A million transactions reconcile in about 20 seconds; this is checked by an automated test on every release. The upload size limit is a setting of your installation. For very large exports, reference them in S3 instead of uploading through the browser.

Results

Why is convergence so low on the first run?

Usually because of the key: it doesn't identify the same records in both files, it has empty values, or it repeats. Check thekey statistics and the recommendations first.

Why isn't a row with equal values counted as matched?

Probably its key appears more than once in one of the files. Such rows are never counted as matched; the differences file shows how many rows each file had for the key (rows_in_file_a, rows_in_file_b).

Are amounts rounded?

No. Amounts are compared and totalled with 64-bit numbers, so a one-cent difference on 12,345,678.91 is reported.

Is text comparison case-sensitive?

No: ABC and abc are equal.

Automation

Can a reconciliation run without opening the UI?

Yes. Save a template, then send both files to the API with itstemplate_id and a list of report_emails: the reconciliation runs by itself and the PDF report arrives by email. SeeAPI.

Where is the full API reference?

In your installation, at /swagger/index.html.
